You can be admitted to both institutions, allowing enrollment in courses that transfer into University of North Texas degree programs, providing a more cost-effective path to earning a bachelor's degree from UNT. Collin College classes are offered at Collin College’s Frisco Campus and UNT at Frisco.

Biology & Health Professions

The Biology & Health Professions pathway begins at Collin College, where you’ll complete foundational science and health coursework while earning an Associate of Science degree. This pathway is designed to help you explore career options, prepare for healthcare and professional program applications, and meet prerequisite requirements for a wide range of health‑related fields.

Business

The Business pathway allows you to complete foundational coursework in the Business Field of Study while building core skills in areas such as management, finance, and operations. Through this program, Business students can take both Collin College and University of North Texas courses at one convenient location. Each semester, Collin College offers select Business Field of Study classes at the UNT at Frisco campus.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you are admitted and registered at Collin College and UNT concurrently, you are considered a student of both institutions and can participate in all events and services at UNT and Collin College.

Biology majors: lower-level science courses may be taken at any Collin College campus, upper-level science courses through UNT will be taught at the Collin College Frisco campus. 

 

Business majors: Collin College classes may be taken at any Collin College campus or you may take selected Collin College courses at the UNT at Frisco campus (business majors only). Upper-level courses will be taught at the UNT at Frisco campus.

You may contact either Collin College or UNT:

You will register and pay for Collin College classes through the Collin College system. You will register and pay for UNT classes through the UNT system. If you are co-enrolled at both schools, you will pay each school separately.

Your total enrollment at both schools will determine your financial aid. Funds will be distributed to you by Collin College or UNT depending on your enrollment history. Contact the financial aid staff if you need assistance:

Yes, the UNT advising team in the biology and business departments will help you navigate your path into their bachelor’s programs as soon as you decide to participate in the UNT OnePath program.

Collin College will automatically send your transcripts to UNT (and vice versa when necessary) and appropriate credit will be applied for prescribed UNT OnePath program courses.
