Continuing Education Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Preparation
The Continuing Education TSI course prepares students with a review of three subjects - math, reading, and writing - that students need to know to pass the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) 2.0 exam.
TSI Math Prep
TSI Math is a self-paced online Canvas course designed for students who need to take or retake the math assessment portion of the TSIA 2.0 exam. All are welcome to take the course, whether you are close to college level or just getting started.
The course prepares students for the math portion of the exam. Students will practice numerous objectives covering three TSI strands through a series of assignments. Weekly check-ins with the Collin College online instructor will help keep you on track!
TSI Reading and Writing Prep
TSI Reading and Writing is a self-paced online Canvas course designed for students who need to take or retake the reading and writing assessment and who test close to college level.
The course prepares students for the reading and writing portion of the TSIA 2.0 exam. Students will practice both literary and informational reading strategies, test-taking strategies, planning and organization of writing, and sentence structure to obtain higher scores in writing the essay and answering revising and editing questions. Weekly check-ins with the Collin College online instructor will help keep you on track!

Interested applicants must apply as a new Collin College Continuing Education (CE) student.
STEP 1: If this is your first time as as Collin College student, please complete an admission application.
STEP 2: Within two business days you will receive an email with your Collin College ID (CWID) and password. The CWID is necessary when registering for the course and/or applying for financial aid.
CE Admission Application - Register for classes
Payment for CE courses is due at the time of registration. Please submit payment during registration to avoid being dropped the following business day.

In-Person testing is available at each of our campus testing centers. The cost to take the TSI exam on campus is $29. Click a campus below to schedule your exam and pay for your assessment. On average, the complete TSI can take 4-5 hours to complete. Be sure you plan accordingly when scheduling your exam.
