Collin College's Modern Automotive Service and Repair Certificate Series is designed to give you hands-on experience as it relates to how the modern automobile operates, diagnosis procedures, and service and repair procedures.
The Professional Truck Driving / CDL course are offered in partnership with a third-party vendor R&B Vocational Training. To qualify for a CDL, students must register in both Professional Truck Driving I and Professional Truck Driving II.
The Construction Project Management Certificate Series provides an overview of the processes and techniques of project management for construction. These courses will help students to understand the entire process of how to successfully complete construction projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
The entry-level Facilities Maintenance course explores general safety awareness, including maintaining, inspecting, and repairing issues commonly occurring in residential, industrial, and commercial buildings.
Participants will learn proper safety procedures for using the tools and equipment required in welding. Participants will also gain an in-depth understanding of metal cutting operations, Stick Welding (SMAW), and MIG (GMAW), while also exploring the capabilities of GTAW for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
