Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology- Honda PACT track

In partnership with American Honda, our Honda PACT Track is a two-year program that will allow you to become a qualified professional automotive technician for any Honda or Acura dealership. In this track, you can complete the Honda Professional Automotive Career Training (PACT) program, which provides training on how to maintain, diagnose, and repair on these two automotive brands.

The program focuses on blending theory with real-world applications, and twice a week, you will gain insight through classroom lectures, online training, and imitating workplace training exercises. You will receive specialized training from Honda Certified instructors at the college.  While in the program, you will need to be employed as a technician at a Honda or Acura dealership in the area. By the end of your first semester, you will have the essential skills to begin your career in an express maintenance service area at a dealership on the days you are not in school.

Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology Toyota T-TEN

Do you want a career as a professional technician at a Toyota or Lexus dealership? The Toyota Technician-Training and Education Network (T-TEN) program has one of the highest training standards in the automotive industry! You can enroll in the Collin College T-TEN program and bring your dreams to life. In partnership with Toyota Motor North America and under the instruction of Toyota and Lexus manufacturer-trained professors, students will earn Toyota and Lexus certifications after successfully passing two Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) exams and completing an internship.

The Toyota T-TEN track mirrors the professional training a Toyota and Lexus technician may go through. Our two-year program follows a two-and-a-half-day schedule to allow appropriate time for lectures and labs. To meet the internship requirement, you will need to work part-time at a Toyota or Lexus dealership throughout the duration of the Toyota T-TEN program. Please see our Registration Information tab to review program requirements.
