Collin College Foundation Hosts Dedication Ceremony and VIP Reception at Technical Campus

On Friday, April 23, the Collin College Foundation dedicated The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation Steering and Suspension Lab at Collin Colleges Technical Campus in Allen. The lab was named in connection with a $100,000 gift from The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation.

The gift is the first naming gift for the colleges new automotive technology program, and 100 percent of the donation is earmarked for endowed scholarships for students. Rudy and Christina Andrea, founders of The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation, celebrated the unveiling of the sign with family members, college officials and board members.

Collin College serves more than 58,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degrees and certificates, including new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) in Cybersecurity degrees. The only public college based in Collin County, Collin College is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and workforce development.
