Collin Colleges Virtual Campus Wins Awards for Excellence and Innovation

iCollin Virtual Campus LogoMarch 25, 2022 The Texas Digital Learning Association (TxDLA) awarded Collin Colleges virtual campus, iCollin, the organizational award for Outstanding Commitment to Excellence and Innovation in Digital Learning. The Executive Dean of the iCollin Virtual Campus, Dr. Sarah Lee, was awarded the individual award in the same category for her leadership of the campus over the past year.

TxDLA is a nonprofit association that was formed to promote the development and application of all forms of digital learning and to implement effective distance learning strategies for Texans and other digital learning practitioners of the global community.

The awards are given to the person or organization that has done the most to benefit and advance the applied practice of digital learning, according to TxDLAs members, during the past year.

We are honored to receive these awards from the Texas Digital Learning Association, said Dr. Lee. The iCollin Virtual Campus has a stellar administrative team and top-notch faculty. We work hard to create a brighter future for our online students through access to an exceptional Collin College education and are proud to receive recognition for our work from our colleagues in the field of digital learning.

The iCollin Virtual Campus launched in 2021 to fulfill a growing need for online course and program delivery. Currently, the campus offers more than 150 courses in an online or blended format, has 25 full-time campus faculty with a growing adjunct faculty pool, and served more than 12,000 students this spring. The campus has a student success coaching program dedicated to supporting online learners.
