Collin College Theatre Department Presents Emerging Works from Students, Faculty

April 14, 2022 The Collin College Theatre Department will host nine days of dramatic performances in multiple media with Emerging Works: A Collection of Devised Pieces, on April 28-30, May 1, and May 4-8 in the Plano Campus Black Box Theatre. Tickets are free for students, $5 for those 65 or older, and $10 per person for all others.
Written, directed, performed, and/or captured by the students and faculty of the Collin College Theatre Department, the 12 original pieces which make up Emerging Works will provide the audience with a glimpse into the creative minds of these young artists. The works include six original plays, two short films, two improvised performances, one animated story, and one devised multimedia piece, including film and live staging.
Performances begin at 7:30 p.m., April 28-30 and on May 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Matinee shows begin at 2:30 p.m., May 1, 7, and 8. Tickets are available athttp://collin.universitytickets.com.The Plano Campus is located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
