Collin College’s Technical Campus will host its fifth annual open house from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. Visitors will learn about the many programs the comprehensive campus has to offer, from automotive, construction, healthcare, and information technology to the college’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management to its partnership programs with Texas A&M University, Texas State University, and The University of Texas at Dallas.

For car enthusiasts, the event will also feature a car meet from 9 a.m.-noon. Department demonstrations will happen throughout the campus, including a special appearance of a robotic dog and other robotic demonstrations by the Engineering and Engineering Technology Department. Virtual welding machines will be available for interaction. The event will also feature the 2D- and 3D-Printing labs that support the Interior Design and Computer-Aided Drafting and Design programs and master electricians and plumbers from the Construction Department.

In addition to the robotic dog, a therapy dog, Willow, will be on-site at the open house. Be sure to stop by and experience the emotional support he offers to our students and employees.

The Starbucks on campus will be open for breakfast, and the Cougar Café will be open for lunch. Other fun food options are planned throughout the day at different parts of the campus. Promotional items will be available from many of the Technical Campus’ programs and vendors supporting this event while supplies last. You can learn more about the open house at https://technicalcampusopenhouse.com/.
