Time of Day Classes are Held
Classes are offered in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. A variety of course
delivery options are available, including in person, hybrid, weekend, web, flex entry,
and express classes.
Class Schedule
Advisors at all campuses can assist students in course selection. A copy of the student's
class schedule can be printed from Workday under the "Academics" section and clicking
on the "Current Classes" tab. A student may also receive a copy of their class schedule
by presenting their photo ID at the Student and Enrollment Services area at any campus.
Changing a Schedule
During open registration students may change their schedules online through Workday
up until the 2nd day of the 16-week fall or spring semester terms, and the 1st day
of a minimester or summer semester. Students may drop classes online before census
without a letter grade posted to their transcript. After census a student can withdraw
online from classes up until the last day to withdraw date and they will receive a
"W" letter grade on their transcript. Students should contact the Student Financials office regarding refunds and payment process.
Changing Your Major
To change your major, please meet with an advisor or program coach.
Degree Plan Request
Students seeking a degree plan can go to Workday and select the Academic Progress
tab in the Academics section to review their current progress.
Evaluation of Credits from Another Institution
The student will need to have an official transcript from each college they attended
in the United States sent to Collin's Admissions and Records office. All official
transcripts must be received by the registrar's office before an evaluation request
can be processed. Please email degreeplans@collin.edu to request university credits to be evaluated.
