Accounting Clerk Certificate Series provides basic training in accounting procedures which will enable students to qualify for clerk-level accounting jobs.  Accounting Clerk positions require applicants to have basic accounting knowledge as well as some computer training. This series is designed to give students a working knowledge of accounting in today's technological environment.

The Administrative Professional Certificate Series is designed to give students specific training in how to coordinate the use of common office technologies, apply basic communication and organizational skills in a business office, understand basic records information management filing systems, and demonstrate a working knowledge of Internet usage and research for the modern office.

Collin College Continuing Education (CE) prepares aspiring professional Bookkeepers to become Certified Bookkeepers through The American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB). This course will benefit practicing and current Bookkeepers who desire the credentials and recognition only found through national certification. Prior experience not required to take the preparation course or the exam.

The Notary Professional course is a dual course geared to prepare students to become a Notary Public and a Notary Signing agent. Participants will learn Texas Notary Law and Procedures and become specifically trained to facilitate mortgage closings. Upon completion you will be able to apply to the state to become licensed as a Notary Public as well as a Notary Signing Agent.

In partnership with PayrollOrg, the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is an exam-based certification.  It is open to all those who wish to demonstrate a baseline of payroll competency. Learn and practice the proven techniques for successfully managing a project. The goal of this series is to give you the skills necessary as a project manager to develop project requirements, sequence activities, control and track costs, and follow up. This certificate provides students with the necessary Project Management Education hours required to sit for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) exams. The exams are NOT included in the cost of tuition and are not administered by Collin College.
