Collin College's GED test prep course prepares students with an intensive review on in each of the four GED subject exams: mathematical reasoning, reasoning through language arts, social studies, and science.

Upon the successful completion of the entire GED test, the State Board of Education will issue a State of Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency to individual GED test takers. Only the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is authorized to issue a Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency (TxCHSE) in Texas.

  • Textbooks and testing fees are additional. Exams will be taken through an official GED test center near you.  Centers are located throughout the metroplex.
  • Test takers, colleges, and employers obtain certificates with GED test scores and verification letters directly from the Texas Education Agency. 
  • TI-30XS Calculator required.
