 Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Courses

Including CPR, AED use, and management of respiratory arrest, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes and stroke. ACLS reflects the most current science and education from the American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Results in an AHA ACLS Healthcare Provider course completion card.

 

Who should take this course? 

Students must be current in BLS Provider and enrolled as an advanced healthcare provider or a licensed healthcare provider who either directly participates in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. For certification, students must score 84% or better on the exam and physically perform the basic skills that meet the requirements of the American Heart Association

 

Pediatric Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (PALS) Courses

 

♥ Pediatric Advanced Life Support 

Advanced life support skills for treating children and infants, including CPR, AED use, and management of respiratory emergencies, shock emergencies, and arrhythmias. Results in an AHA PALS Healthcare Provider course completion card.

 

The PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills. The course includes a series of case scenario practices with simulations that reinforce important concepts. 

 

Who should take this course? 

Students must be current in BLS Provider and enrolled as an advanced healthcare provider or a licensed healthcare provider. For healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units

For certification, students must score 84% or better on the exam and physically perform the basic skills that meet the requirements of the American Heart Association.
