Overview

The Biology Department at Collin College offers students a broad introduction to modern biological sciences, with coursework emphasizing the molecular through the ecosystem level of biological organization. Students taking courses in Biology at Collin College have the opportunity to specialize in areas of their particular interest. These areas include cellular and molecular biology, organismal and environmental biology, microbiology and biology related to the health sciences. With a focus on current research and project-based labs, students will receive an education that will allow them to pursue a variety of academic and career opportunities.
