Jessica Murphy
Jessica Murphy, Adjunct Faculty
Jessica Murphy is a teaching artist with an interest in collaborative dance. She completed her MFA in Dance at Texas Woman's University as well as her MAT and BA in dance and elementary education at Sweet Briar College. Jessica has taught students throughout Virginia and Texas with ages ranging from 3 years to 90+. Most recently her choreography has been showcased at the World Dance Alliance Global Summit, South by Southwest, Living Art’s 7 Stories/7 Doorways Event, Big Rig Dance Collective’s Dance Co-op Festival, The Bell House’s EXCHANGE Choreography Festival, and the Brave Art Dance Fest. Born and raised in Virginia, Murphy currently resides in Texas where she teaches dance at the University of North Texas and Collin College.
