Notes

  • Students will be permitted for enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis, based on application date, completion and overall interview/application video scores (beginning in the Spring 2026 semester, this will include completion of the virtual interview for all Phlebotomy, CNA, and PCT applicants, submission of all required vaccines in the purchased immunization tracker, and completion of the required background check) until the campus cohort is full. Any additional approved applicants will be placed on the waiting list in the order of which they are approved. EKG students are not required to complete the immunization tracker, background check or virtual interview (Step 3) of the application process.
  • Campus location availability is subject to the courses meeting minimal student enrollment requirements. If a program location cohort does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, it will be subject to cancellation.
  • Students will be notified via email regarding their acceptance to their desired program. Any student who does not pay for their tuition balance by their given deadline will forfeit their spot in the program and be moved to the bottom of the waiting list.
  • Third-party vendor purchases such as the immunization tracker, background check, and drug screens are NON-REFUNDABLE.

General Disclosure

The programs listed in the Licensure and Certification Disclosure Table may lead to a professional license or certification that is required for employment. Professional licensure/certification requirements vary from state to state, which may affect a student's ability to apply for a professional license or certification upon completion of a program. The U.S. Department of Education regulation, 34 CFR 668.43(a)(5)(v), requires that an institution disclose whether the program will fulfill educational requirements for licensure or certification for each state or whether the college has not made such a determination for each state.

In addition to coursework and exams, some states also have additional requirements for licensure, including other examinations and professional experience. We recommend students contact the appropriate state licensing agency in their state or the state where they intend to work to seek the most up to date information about state licensure/certification requirements before beginning any program.

If you have any further questions about the enrollment process for the Health Professions programs, please feel free to reach out to us at healthprofessions@collin.edu.
