Human Resources and Organizational Management

Human Resources Management (HRM or HR)
is the strategic approach to the effective management of people in a company or organization in a way that creates a competitive advantage.

Human resources managers recruit, hire, plan, direct, and deploy the organization’s employees. They are employed in nearly every industry.

Most work in offices and work full-time during regular business hours, although some must travel to attend professional meetings or recruit employees.
