Texas All-Star Jazz Camp 2025
Sunday-Friday, June 8-13, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (Evening concerts at 7 p.m. on select
days.)
Collin College Wylie Campus, 391 Country Club Road, Wylie, TX 75098.
The Texas All-Star Jazz Camp is open to musicians of all levels (with at least one
year of experience on their instruments) with a minimum age of 13. The curriculum
includes jazz theory, improvisation, jazz history/listening, instrumental masterclasses
on saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, guitar, bass, and drums, and ensembles — big
bands and combos. Jazz camp faculty include members of the Collin College Music Department
as well as jazz performers and educators from across the country.
A special featured guest artist is invited to perform and teach at the camp each year.
This year’s guest is pianist and composer Annie Booth.
Public concerts include the jazz camp faculty on June 10, the featured guest artist on June 11, and student ensembles on June 13.
Fees
Register by April 20 for early bird tuition of $300.
Registration fee from April 21-June 8 is $325.
Optional lunch: $55 (Monday-Friday)
Optional Jazz Camp t-shirt: $9 (order deadline is Monday, May 26 at midnight)
