About the FWS Program
Work study jobs are partially funded by the federal or state government. The FWS program gives students the opportunity to work on campus or in a community service position on a part-time basis. Students may work up to 20 hours per week and receive the funds for actual hours worked from Collin College. The hourly pay rate for FWS positions is $12.00 an hour.
Eligibility
Below is a list of eligibility requirements for FWS.
- Show financial need
- Be enrolled at least half-time in an eligible program
- Be an eligible U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Be making Satisfactory Academic Progress
How to Apply
FWS funds are automatically awarded to all eligible students. Students may search for work-study positions and complete an application for employment on the Collin College HR website.
