Summer Enrollment

2024 Summer Enrollment information.

ERS has scheduled Collin College for Summer Enrollment from 7/1/2024 – 7/12/2024.  Any changes to your Benefits will be effective 09/01/2024.

  • You do not have to take any action if you do not want to make any changes.
  • Your current coverage will continue through Plan Year 2025 (9/1/2024 - 8/31/2025).

What’s New:

  • All ERS rates and insurance carriers will remain the same for the upcoming Fiscal Year.
  • The Texas Income Protection Plan (TIPP) Short Term Disability required waiting period will reduce from 30 calendar days to 14 calendar days.  This means you can begin receiving disability coverage sooner, but you will still need to exhaust your sick leave, if any, before your coverage begins.

Benefit Plan Resources:

  • The ERS Summer Enrollment Active Employee Guide includes step-by-step instructions on how to make Benefit changes on the ERS website.  Once you save and submit your changes, you will receive a Benefits Summary by email.  Keep this summary for your records.  In addition, you will find information on plan information, deductibles, out of pocket maximum changes and more!
  • ERS will begin mailing the Summer Enrollment Packet to your home the week of June 20, 2024.
  • ERS Summer Enrollment Webpage for Employees
  • ERS Webinars on all plans:  Now through July 12, 2024. (Select Annual Enrollment and AE Webinars to view available Annual Enrollment activities.)
