Collin Corporate College Workshop Addresses Workplace Violence Survival, Risk Mitigation Planning

May 26, 2021 Collin Corporate College, in conjunction with Voss Risk Strategies, will host a vital one-day interactive workshop on June 25 from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. to provide personal and organizational planning strategies to mitigate a workplace violence event.

Jim Savage will be the keynote presenter and instructor at this event. Savage is a former 20-year veteran of the U.S. Secret Service and has served in executive and top consulting roles for large businesses in the community. He will train individuals and organizations in behavioral analysis and warning sign recognition tactics, preemptive planning strategies, dos and donts during an active scene, and the foundational pillars for a successful risk aversion plan at the organizational level.

The exclusive half-day event will be held at the Collin College Courtyard Center, located at 4800 Preston Park Blvd in Plano. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Pandemic protocols around social distancing as provided by the State of Texas and the Center for Disease Control will be strictly adhered to.
