June 30, 2021 Several Collin College students and professors recently received awards from Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the largest and most prestigious honor society among two-year colleges. PTK promotes academic achievement and offers qualified students networking and scholarship opportunities. Membership is by invitation, and students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have earned 12 credit hours.

According to Wendy Gunderson, dean of academic services, the colleges PTK Alpha Mu Tau chapter overcame a variety of challenges this year.

The chapter conducted many meetings and events online due to restrictions from the pandemic, Gunderson said.
