Patrons explore The Art Gallery at the Plano Campus

The Art Gallery will host the exhibition Sound Box – Please Touch on view Nov. 3-16. A reception is planned from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14. The exhibition, artist talk, and reception are free and open to the public.

Come experience an immersive and interactive installation featuring a variety of sound boxes made by local artists and musicians. Visitors are encouraged to explore the possibilities of each box as they create and experience the unique sonic environment that result.

Join faculty, staff, and students for an Artist Talk in the gallery from 1-1:45 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, to hear Professor Chris Morgan talk about the exhibition.

The gallery is located on Collin College’s Plano Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Email theartgallery@collin.edu or call 972.881.5873 for more information.
