Collin College Continuing Education (CE) announces a new course, “Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) for the Rest of Us.” The course is an extension of CE’s Data Science certificate series and designed for business leaders and non-technical professionals interested in Generative AI basics and its ethical implications. An information session for the course will be held Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in room 122 at the Courtyard Center, 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano.
According to Anthony Klinkert, curriculum advisor and CE instructor, the course will give insights about AI trends and provide an interactive and practical approach through hands-on learning and real-world applications. This first course is taught by Dr. Yeshwant Muthusamy, CE instructor, owner, and principal consultant of Yeshvik Solutions, LLC.
“Business leaders will gain essential knowledge to leverage AI for strategic decision-making and innovation,” Klinkert said.
Dr. Muthusamy added, “The course provides the tools and knowledge to navigate the digital transformation driven by AI technologies like ChatGPT. This course has no programming or technical prerequisites – it is appropriate for anyone interested in learning more about Generative AI.”
During the information session, participants will have an opportunity to speak with course instructors to learn more about the course and future CE courses in AI.
