Join the Collin College Theatre Department for “Moon Over Buffalo,” a mad-cap romp about two fading stars reaching for the limelight one more time. The play runs from Oct. 16-20 at the John Anthony Theatre on the Plano Campus. Tickets are free for students and Collin employees, $5 for veterans, the military, and those ages 65 or older, and $10 per person for all others.

Once popular actors George and Charlotte Hay are stuck doing dinner theatre in Buffalo, New York, when they hear famous director Frank Capra is looking for replacement actors for his new picture. He wants to see them perform, but George can’t convince Charlotte it’s a real opportunity. By the time Charlotte comes around to the possibility of a film career, the play within a play has gone all wrong. Filled with mistaken identities, accidental inebriation, a meddling mother-in-law, and several romantic entanglements gone wrong, “Moon Over Buffalo” offers a peek behind the stage curtain that’s sure to delight.

“Moon Over Buffalo” is directed by Robin Armstrong with a script by Ken Ludwig.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 16-19. Matinee shows begin at 2:30 p.m., Oct. 19-20. Tickets are available at https://collincollege.ticketleap.com. For more information about the show, email boxoffice@collin.edu or call 972.882.5809.
