Collin College’s episode of The College Tour premiered on Amazon Prime Video on Oct. 15. The College Tour series travels around the globe highlighting higher education institutions via student stories. Their stop at Collin College earlier this year marked the first community college in Texas to be featured on the series. Hosted by Alex Boylan an Amazing Race winner, and produced by Boylan, Lisa Hennessy and Burton Roberts a Survivor participant, The College Tour aims to empower high school students to virtually tour colleges and universities and find their future higher education home.
“We are excited to share with the world the phenomenal students and employees who represent Collin College,” said Dr. Neil Matkin, Collin College district president. “By highlighting these 10 students and their unique journeys, future students and their families can become familiar with the amazing services and opportunities Collin College offers.”
The 30-minute-long episode features 10 student-driven segments that capture a truly one-of-a-kind perspective. Each segment covers topics including program offerings, state-of-the-art facilities, student resources, and more. Filmed across several campuses, Collin College’s The College Tour episode showcases real students who share their story in their own words.
Season 12 of The College Tour is now available on The College Tour app and website. Each segment is also available for viewing at www.collin.edu/explore/thecollegetour.html.
