Aaron Shelby, current Dallas- Fort Worth area president for Prosperity Bank, and grandson of legendary racer and car manufacturer Carroll Shelby, will deliver the commencement address. Since 2016, Aaron has served on the Board of Shelby International, an umbrella organization under which the Shelby entities operate, as a brand ambassador helping to maintain a working relationship with Ford Motor Company. Aaron’s current charity work includes service to the board of directors of the Shelby Foundation. Previous charity efforts include working with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and The Dallas Children’s Theatre. The Carroll Shelby Foundation has also generously supported Collin College with a naming gift to the Automotive Technology program, benefitting the program and its students.
