Mandel will discuss her book during a fireside chat at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25 in Collin College’s McKinney Campus Conference Center, located at 2400 Community Ave., in McKinney. She will return to Collin College for a second fireside chat at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26 in the Frisco Campus Conference Center located at 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Mandel for book signings at both events.
Station Eleven is a dystopian novel set in the eerie days of civilization’s collapse. It discusses themes of art, culture, survival, relationships, health, and memory. The national bestseller was a finalist for the National Book Award and the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction. Station Eleven has also been adapted into a limited series on HBO Max.
