Collin College's Nunley named NJCAA All-American

Sophomore basketball player Alisha Nunley has been named to the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) Division I Women’s Basketball All-America First Team. This is the third year in a row that a Collin College basketball player has been named an All-American and the fourth time in five years that a Collin athlete has been honored.

Nunley, a 5-foot-5-inch guard out of Euless Trinity High School, has been a consistent scorer, posting 18 points per game with two 35-point games early in the season. She also contributed 96 total steals and an average of six rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while maintaining a 42.4 field goal percentage and 32.8% from beyond the arc. Nunley was named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) Player of the Year, an All-Region V player, All-Conference, and an honorable mention by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association for its 2025 WBCA Two-Year College Coaches’ All-American Team.

Collin alumna Waiata Jennings and Mackenzie Buss were named to NJCAA All-American Division I Women’s Basketball teams in 2023 and 2024. Rafal Bednarczuk was named an All-American in tennis in 2021.
