Visit payment deadlines to find your early registration payment deadline. Students registered in classes will be sent payment reminder emails to their Collin-issued email address. After the early registration payment deadline date, payment must be made at the time of course registration to ensure course enrollment status, regardless of the start date of the course.

Students placed on Academic Suspension for not meeting satisfactory academic progress requirements will have a hold placed on their record, restricting registration for one full semester. However, students have a one-time option to appeal this restriction. If the appeal is approved, the student may enroll in up to 13 credit hours for the upcoming semester. Supporting documentation is required and must be uploaded to the appeal form at the time of submission. If an appeal is not submitted using the form below, is missing the required supporting documentation, or the deadline for submission has passed, the appeal will be denied.

Spring Academic Suspension Appeals are due May 29 by 5 p.m.

Registration Information

Is the class you wanted full? Sign up for the waitlist. When you receive a registration add error, select Waitlisted in the action box and then select Submit Changes. If a seat becomes available, you will be notified through your Collin email. You will only have 24 hours to register for the class and pay, otherwise that seat will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.

You are encouraged to register for an alternative section in case a seat does not become available in the section for which you are waitlisted.

The last day to be added to a course waitlist is one week before the start date of the course. All waitlists will be cleared out and closed within five days prior to the start date of the course.

During the registration period, you may add and/or drop classes by accessing your Workday Student Portal. Once you have registered and need to make changes to your schedule, you can do so during online registration. You may drop classes before the first day of the term without penalty. Visit the calendars page to see registration deadlines and the refund schedule.

A $100 late fee will be assessed for students who wait until the first day of the term to register for the first time.

Drops after the course census date are considered withdrawals. View the withdrawal policy for more information.
