Requirements
New and Returning Students Not Enrolled for the Past Year
1. Complete application for admission. If you have not attended Collin within the past year, admission/readmission is necessary. Proof of Texas residency may be required. Application for Admission and e-class schedules are available on the web.
2. Provide proof of meningitis vaccination (if needed) and submit official transcripts from all institutions attended. Students who do not have an official transcript including final grades for the current semester will be required to submit a Conditional Registration Contract before being able to register.
3. Submit Texas Success Initiative (TSI) documentation:Official college transcript including scores, exemption or completion. In cases where the college transcript does not show exemption, an official high school transcript with SAT, ACT, TAKS or STAAR test scores is required. Note: TSI documentation (scores or exemption) is required for registration purposes; it is not an admission requirement.
4. Advising Students should meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss holds, options for class registration and prove pre-requisites in the areas of Reading, Writing and Math before registration begins. Student must submit a grade report or unofficial transcript in order to set up prerequisites before registration. Registration requests processed on campus require an Academic Advisor's signature on the enrollment form.

Students on Academic Warning or Probation
Students ineligible to re-enroll at the last college attended due to suspension must
petition for enrollment and submit an official transcript from the last school attended.
