New Students

Please have your school send an official transcript to:

Please note: Once transcripts are received at Collin College electronically or by regular mail, it may take up to 7 - 10 business days to process and complete your action item/hold, as each transcript must be manually reviewed.  Transcript processing during peak season may be longer.

Once official transcripts from all previously attended institutions have been received at Collin College, you may request to have your transfer coursework evaluated.  From "Your Top Apps" in your Workday student portal, select "Transfer Credit Evaluation Request" and choose "Transfer Credit Evaluation" for the Request Type.

Official Collin College Transcript requests are processed and sent by our third-party partner company Parchment.  Collin College transcripts cost $5 each unless you choose to have the transcript expedited, in which additional fees will apply. Please see the Parchment website for current expedited prices. Students can order using their CWID number or social security number (if on student record). 

If a student has the following type of holds they will need to resolve these issues prior to order: 

 

1) Bursar/Cashier Hold, please resolve by contacting the Student Financials Office:

2) Residency documentation, Visa, or Permanent Resident card needed, or Educational Data Incomplete, please resolve by contacting the Admissions Office:

3) Transcript required hold, please resolve by sending official transcript to one of the following:

Please note:  Whether a transcript was received at Collin College electronically or by regular mail, it may take up to 7 - 10 business days to process, as each transcript must be manually reviewed. Processing times during peak periods may be longer.

When ordering transcripts, students may request to hold for grades to ensure that the current term's grades are present or to hold for degree to make sure that their degree has been posted prior to release. Transcripts are released approximately 4 business days after grades are due. Transcripts held for degree are released individually upon confirmation that all eligible credentials have been awarded, and this process may take up to 2-3 weeks.

 

 

To view your unofficial transcript if a student in the past 12 months:

  1. Log into your CougarWeb account
  2. Go to the Student Quicklinks menu
  3. Under Academic History select Generate Unofficial Transcript 

 

Alternatively you may also:

  1. Log into your Workday Student account
  2. From the homepage, in the search bar type Generate Unofficial Transcript
  3. Check the Confirmation box
  4. Your unofficial transcript will begin processing and you can elect to be notified once it has completed. Once it has completed processing, navigate to your Notifications and open the unofficial transcript.
