Special Admit Students

Approval

High School students who do not attend a partnering ISD/high school still have the opportunity to earn both academic and workforce credit through the dual credit program at Collin College with approval from their high school.

All courses must be approved by your high school counselor. Your high school counselor must submit the permission form to dualcredit@collin.edu each semester in order for you to register for courses.

Fall registration will open on April 27th and continue until the hard stop deadline.

Important Dates

Semester Dates:

January 20, 2026 - May 17, 2026*
Early Registration and Payment Deadline: December 3, 2025 at 7 p.m. After the Spring term Early Registration payment deadline date, payment must be made at the time of course registration to ensure course enrollment status, regardless of the start date of the course. An outstanding balance on a student account will result in registration and transcript holds on the account, and the registration status may also be changed.
Hard Stop Registration Deadline: January 16, 2026* ($100 late fee once courses begin)
Census Date (Last day to drop): February 3, 2026*
Withdraw Deadline: April 2, 2026*

Maymester: May 18 to June 2
Five-week June: June 8 to July 9
Ten-week June: June 8 to August 11
Five-week July: July 13 to August 11
Early Registration and Payment Deadline: April 29, 2026 at 7 p.m.

You should receive an email with your OneLogin information once admitted to set up your account. Next, sign in to your Workday student account through OneLogin and select the Campus Safety Training task in your inbox.
